Cranfield Colts are the biggest sports club in Cranfield village, a rural village in Bedfordshire in the heart of England and are proud to say that we are one of the first clubs in the district to be accredited as an FA ‘Standard Charter’ club. The Colts are run by volunteers (mostly parents of the boys and girls in the club) who want to see children from the village and surrounding area enjoy the benefits of organised and regular football. The club encourages boys and girls to play football and runs both mixed and single-sex teams. There are no formal trials for joining the club. The club runs teams spanning age groups from Under 6 to Under 16. To find out more information about the club please contact the Committee/Managers.
Who coaches the teams?
We are proud of our coaches who are usually, but not exclusively, the parents of the children in each age group. All coaches hold (as a minimum) an FA Level 1 Football Coaching Certificate (usually gained in their first season with the club); an Emergency First Aid Certificate; and Child Protection Certificate. The names of the managers and club officials can be found on the relevant pages.
